“In April 2021, I was elected to do a job for our district and I delivered. I will continue to support teachers, students, and families. I will continue to support the implementation of the strategic plan that I helped create, and I will continue to collaborate with stakeholders to make sure we are creating well-rounded educational experiences.”

Meet SCOTT CRISE

Supporting teachers, students, and families

The School Board has a responsibility to engage with parents and teachers to understand what our students and classrooms need. Scott will continue to ensure the board is responsive and available to all concerns and will help guide families through his decision-making process.

Moving SPS Forward

Scott will continue to support the implementation of the district’s strategic plan that he helped create. That plan includes increasing the percentage of students meeting proficiency standards, especially in reading. It also includes ensuring that students are career-ready by supporting career and technical education opportunities. Scott will also help lead the effort to develop a 10-year facility plan to guide budget decisions related to planned maintenance and improvements.

Collaborating with stakeholders

Springfield public schools should continue enhancing real-world educational opportunities for all students. That means encouraging partnerships with local businesses and colleges like GO CAPS, the Alliance for Healthcare Education, OTC Middle College, the IB program, Fly SPS, Ag Academy, Academy of Fine & Performing Arts, & the Academy of Exploration.

"From serving on boards, to helping start WatchDOG Dads at Sequiota Elementary to help with security needs, I've been invested in our public school system from the beginning of my daughters’ educations. I will continue to give 100% on our school board."
